I was meaning to do some reading and head to bed straight after, but reading all the other blogposts, i felt compelled to write a little update about my new life here in Singapore. So, it has been almost a week now. Spending Christmas here with family members is a staple, but not leaving right after is something new.
I'm not going to talk about how much I miss my friends back in Peejay as you know who you are. It's funny how the night I got here, I went straight on Skype and had a webbie session with sayangs, and introduced my mom to them. Lol. Don't get me started on the late night lullaby to vin. Freaking hillarious I tell you. I was actually singing in whisper (cos everyone else is asleep!) to my other friend Tom and Vin insisted I sing to him as well. So I sang our anthem "Crystal", and sayang told me how he love this song. I knew Gaik Ying loves "Crystal" but I had no idea vin loves it too. Well that makes the three of us :)
On the 26th Dec was my second sister's wedding solemnisation at Rendezvous Hotel. In my honest opinion, the reception was simply beautiful. In fact, I teared a little when they were proclaimed husband and wife. So drama right moi? Well, that's because I'm very happy for them! :) Now I'm official the only single and very available child in the family. Heh.
Now that all the happy events passed by, it's time for some serious work to be done. To be honest, I am worried even though it's barely a week since I sat for my last paper. I had everything planned out before, but c'est la vie, I got to begin from the starting point again. No news from any production house in Singapore yet. Unanswered emails and sending out resumes suck balls.
Sigh, I haven't even adapt to sleeping early yet (It's 430am right now and I'm wide awake). Nor I have adapted to sharing rooms with my cousin and NOT sleeping on floors. I am missing my stinking room in 17 :(
To my surprise, I also find myself missing sayang number three. This is going to be a lonely new year's eve, people.
